November is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month
At Be Well, Stay Well, we want to shine a light on the mental health challenges many men face and break the silence around them. In the UK, suicide remains the leading cause of death for men under 50, and yet many struggle in silence, often due to societal expectations that men should “stay strong” or “tough it out.”
This month, let’s challenge those harmful stereotypes. It’s okay to talk about your feelings, to ask for help, and to admit when you’re not okay. Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness. Whether you’re checking in with a friend or taking the step to seek support yourself, know that your mental health matters💪
If you need help—not just this month, but at any time—please reach out to us at Be Well, Stay Well. We’re here to listen and support you on your journey.
